Well here’s the first of what we hope will be a series of American gestures books Richard Epstein and I have been working on for the last few years. We’re hoping it will be eventually adapted for ESL learning. The research we did revealed over 400 American gestures that we documented with illustrations and definitions. This one focuses on conventional gestures. Meaning and methodology. Conventional gestures are those movements we make such as waving hello and shaking hands, that are part of a learned, shared, symbolic system. We examined what such gestures mean and how we can study them. Anyway we put a lot of work into this so it’s nice to be able to finally hold the book in my hand.

Here we find the poor anonymous small business owner struggling with his nemesis… network and computer lag. Shakespeare once said “what wound did ever heal but by degrees.” The anonymous business owner assumes that the bard was never on a deadline.
Sometimes when I’m manipulating vector stock images of purple puppies to embed into an animated stripmall at 11:07 at night, I ask myself… “Maybe You should’ve applied yourself and become the captain of a nuclear submarine, Sparky?”
"I have issues…" said the Lords pet monkey.
I’m doing my best “Blue Steel” impression in this one.
